The first serious thoughts about butterflies came around a year ago, when  i realized, that i have stopped seeing them too often, its like something which was very common in your life and you only started noticing it when it is gone!! Butterflies were the colorful part of my childhood. Little amused over their declining population ,i started to read about them over internet,books etc. The more i read,more i  get confused  since lots of stuff were present over internet. Honestly , I am trying to create a butterfly garden , Last one year of my times spent on studying about their plants choices , food , behavior.You can have a look on my efforts for butterfly garden   Here . As the greenery increased over my terrace , I begin to see many visitors , who graced my garden with their surprise presence. Delhi has lots of different varieties of butterflies, there are more then 69 species recorded in Delhi-NCR. My efforts are how can we include these beautiful creatures in our urban lifestyle and environment. Summer is dull season for the butterfly lovers , especially if  you terrace/backyard garden. However, rains does not only bring respite from heat, but also bring joys to the eyes as lots of butterflies becomes active in this season.
